Drop Camps

Our Outfitted Drop Camps are primarily set up for a maximum of four hunters with the camp being exclusive to your group. We can accommodate larger groups in our drop camps but recommend a group to be no larger than six hunters. We provide wall tents with wood stoves, cots, sleeping pads, dining table, camp chairs, and lanterns. A food preparation table along with cook top and all food preparation and dining utensils are provided. The hunter must provide all food and personal gear to include sleeping bag, hunting license, game bags, rifle, and ammunition..

We provide transportation from our ranch headquarters to and from the drop camps. Upon packing into the drop camps, all horses and mules are returned to our ranch headquarters. No horses are left in camp and we do not provide horses and or mules for the hunters use during the hunt. All hunting from our outfitted drop camps is done on foot. Drop camps also can have guides, cooks, or wranglers on a case by case basis at an additional cost.

The camps are checked on a minimum of every two days by our personnel, and all meat, hides, and antlers are packed out to our ranch headquarters. Game carcasses can be delivered to the local processor upon the hunter’s request. The hunter will be responsible for the costs of any meat processing and/or taxidermy fees. The hunter is responsible for pick up and transportation of any meat, antlers, and hides at the end of the hunt.

The hunters are required to clean, skin, and quarter all deer and elk carcasses and place all quarters and meat in game bags for preparation to be packed out. If the hunter plans to have his /her game heads mounted by a taxidermist, then the cape must be skinned out and the antlers cut off the head. We will not pack game heads with the antlers attached.
