Full Service Guided Hunts

Full Service Guided Hunts are typically 5 day hunts plus 1 day travel to and from the actual hunting area. The cost of the trip includes lodging in wall tents, and food is provided and prepared by us. Complete guiding and outfitting services includes - food, shelter, guiding, transportation, and game and trophy handling.

Each camp consists of at least one large wall tent, and usually two to three other support tents. We cook in one tent, and sleep on cots in the other. The hunt will include excellent food, woodstoves for heat, Coleman stoves for cooking, dependable trail-savvy horses, experienced guides, a lot of hunting (foot and horseback), and good company. Your game will be cleaned, and transported out by packhorse.

All Guided Hunts are horseback or foot hunting, and the horses will stay in camp. These hunts have a two hunter to one guide ratio. Camps vary from 7 to 12 miles from roads, and it takes anywhere from 2 to 6 hours to get to camp. The ride is not a rough ride.

You will be transported from a local airport - Grand Junction or Eagle/Vail - or from your motel by mountain vehicles. We will drive to the trailhead, where we will saddle up and ride into camp. Our hunts are located and permitted on the White River National Forest under a special use permit from the Forest Service.
